Plumber in West Tennessee & North MS
From a dripping faucet to a burst main at midnight, Prodigy handles every plumbing problem a West Tennessee home can throw at you. Our licensed plumbers arrive in a stocked truck, quote the price before work starts, and treat your home like their own.
Prodigy Plumbing has worked on the pipes, drains, and water heaters of Tipton County homes since 2019, from older housing stock in Brighton to newer construction out toward Arlington and Bartlett. West Tennessee plumbing has its own personality: moderately hard water that scales up water heaters and fixtures faster than it should, a handful of hard freezes every winter that catch exposed or poorly insulated pipe off guard, and a lot of homes still running galvanized steel or polybutylene supply lines instead of PEX or copper. We work on all of it — fixture repairs, full and partial repipes, water heaters, drain and sewer lines, and the emergency calls that come in because a supply line let go overnight.
Every job starts with a diagnosis, not a guess: we look at the actual pipe, the actual water heater, the actual clog, and price the real fix before any work begins. That's the anti-upsell rule we hold ourselves to — if a repair will do the job, we say so, and we don't push a replacement just because it pays better. Techs are licensed, insured, background-checked, and kept current on the trade, and that standard holds whether it's a Tuesday-morning drip or a holiday-weekend burst pipe.
Plumbing problems never pick a convenient time. That's why Prodigy runs a true 24/7 emergency line — a real person answers, and a licensed plumber heads your way from right here in Tipton County, not from a call center two states over.
We handle the everyday work too: slow drains, running toilets, low water pressure, leaking water heaters, sump pumps, garbage disposals, gas lines, and whole-home repipes. Every job starts with an honest assessment and an upfront price. If a repair will do, we won't sell you a replacement.

Call, talk to a real person
Every call, any hour, is answered by someone who can ask the right questions and get a tech moving — not a call center reading from a script.
On-site diagnosis
We look at the actual problem — camera the line, check pressure, test the water heater, whatever the situation calls for — instead of pricing off a phone description.
Upfront price before we start
You get a clear price for the actual fix, plus honest input on repair versus replace, before any tool comes off the truck.
Repair, test, walk-through
We complete the work, test it under real conditions — water running, pressure holding, drain running clear — and walk you through what was done and what to watch going forward.
What actually drives the cost
Access — whether the pipe or fixture is exposed, behind drywall, under a slab, or crawl-space-only changes how much labor it takes just to reach the problem.
Pipe material — matching or upgrading galvanized, polybutylene, copper, or PEX affects both the materials involved and the method of repair.
Scope — a single fixture repair, a section repipe, and a whole-house repipe are three different jobs with three different amounts of work.
Age and condition of the surrounding system — one failure on an old galvanized line often means nearby pipe is close behind it, which changes what an honest recommendation looks like.
Timing — an after-hours or holiday emergency call gets priority dispatch, which is a different kind of job than a scheduled daytime appointment.
Plumbing questions, answered straight
How does your pricing actually work?
Before any repair starts, a tech diagnoses the actual problem and gives you a firm price for the fix — not a rough guess, not a range that grows once the wall's already open. You approve that price before work begins, and it's backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If something changes once we're inside a wall or under a slab, we stop and talk to you before doing anything that wasn't already agreed to.
Will you always push a replacement instead of a repair?
No — if a repair will genuinely fix the problem, that's what we recommend, even though a repair is smaller work for us than a replacement. We'll tell you when a repair is realistic and when it's just delaying an inevitable bigger failure, and the decision is yours to make, not a sales pitch. That's the standard we built the company on back in 2019, and it hasn't changed.
What area do you actually cover?
We're based in Brighton and cover all of Tipton County, plus Atoka, Munford, Covington, Millington, Arlington, and Bartlett. If you're not sure whether your address is in range, call the line and ask — it's a quick answer either way.
Who's actually showing up at my house?
A licensed, insured plumber who's been background-checked and kept current on training, not a subcontractor we've never met. Prodigy's been family-run since 2019, and the people we send are the people we'd send to our own family's house.
My house still has old galvanized or polybutylene pipe — can you even work with that, or does it all have to be replaced at once?
We can work with it either way. Plenty of galvanized and polybutylene systems just need a targeted repair at the failure point, and we'll tell you honestly if that's a reasonable patch or if the rest of the line is close behind it. When a full or partial repipe does make sense, we plan it around your schedule and move you to modern PEX or copper section by section if that fits your timeline better than an all-at-once job.

“We bought a new home only to discover we had a bad clog under the house that was backing up the kitchen sink. Landon came 4 days in a row and kept trying to clear it… We couldn't be more appreciative. Very professional and kept us informed at every step.”
